  2. If we need more information, we will ask for it. If we cannot help, we will say so and, where we can, point to who can.

5. Reporting wrong or misattributed data

The data in Gridder is produced by automated means from third-party documents. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date or wrongly attributed, and it is indicative only. You should always check it against the source document, as explained in the Data Disclaimer and No-Reliance Notice.

If you find a value that looks wrong, tell us at support@getgridder.com or through the Feedback button. Please give:

We may review reports and may correct the data. A report is not a claim and does not alter your rights or ours. We do not promise to correct every value or to do so by a set time, and we do not guarantee that data is correct after we have reviewed it.

6. Making a complaint

If you are unhappy with Gridder or with how we have handled something, please tell us. A complaint can be about the service, about billing, about our conduct, or about the way a request has been handled.

6.1 How to complain

Write to hello@getgridder.com with the word "Complaint" in the subject. Say who you are, which group you belong to, what happened, what you would like us to do, and include any dates, documents or references. Complaints about legal or contractual matters can go to legal@getgridder.com.

6.2 What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement: we aim to acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days. This is a target, not a commitment.
  2. Reply: we will respond once we have looked into the matter, within a reasonable time.
  3. Review: if you are not satisfied, you may ask for one further review of a reasonable request by writing to legal@getgridder.com within 28 days of our response. We will confirm our final position in writing.

Complaints and claims are subject to the time limits in the terms that apply to your use of Gridder.

6.3 Outside bodies

Our customers are businesses and professional investors, not consumers, so consumer alternative dispute resolution schemes do not apply. Our service is not a regulated financial service, so we are not covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service. No ombudsman or alternative dispute resolution scheme applies to Gridder. You keep the right to go to the courts as set out in your terms, and the parties may agree to mediation.

7. Data protection requests and complaints

To exercise your rights over your personal data (access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection), write to privacy@getgridder.com. We will respond within one month, as explained in the Privacy Notice.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator:

Users in the EEA may complain to their local data protection authority. You may complain to the ICO without first complaining to us, but we encourage you to contact us first, so that we can try to put things right quickly.

8. About our regulatory status

We provide information software. We do not give investment advice, we do not make offers of securities or arrange any transaction, we do not issue credit ratings, and Gridder is not a benchmark or a regulated data service. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for what Gridder does. Nothing in Gridder is a recommendation or an invitation to buy, sell or hold any security. If you have a concern about a regulated firm, contact that firm or its regulator, not us.
